As an Assistant Programme Manager, you will be assisting the manager in the set up and daily operation of the programme as well as fostering great relationships with our school communities. You would also play an important role in ‘growing AWESOME kiwi kids’.

Required Experience & Attributes:

  • Strong passion for working with children
  • Great communication skills


Hours of work

minimum of 12 hours per week, Monday – Friday (mornings and afternoons) 

Rise then Shine between 7.15am to 8.30am and Stay and Play between 2.30pm - 6pm, as rostered.

Possible shifts available in our Holiday Programmes.


Due to the Ministry of Social Development's Out of School Care & Recreation (OSCAR) recommendations, we are only able to accept applicants who are over the age of 20 for this role.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Day to day supervisory care
  • Parent liaison
  • Occasional administrational tasks
  • Assisting with marketing and promotional events
