Description and Requirements

Welcome to Helping Hands! We provide before & after school care and school holiday programs to primary children across Greater Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast & North Queensland. 


We are proudly represented in over 80 Queensland services from Burleigh Heads to Rockhampton. 


TELL ME WHAT TO EXPECT!


  • Engage primary children through sports, crafts, drama, science, gardening, cooking, cultural activities & so much more!; 
  • Actively supervise children and ensure their safety; 
  • Casual & part-time employment opportunities; 
  • Split shifts, usually 2-hours (7-9 am) and 3-4 hours (2-6 pm) Monday - Friday;
  • High-energy & strong communication, working as part of a team;    
  • Cooking, meal preparation & light cleaning.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS


  • Relevant* Certificate/ Bachelors (or active enrolment); OR
  • 2+ years of experience working with children; 
  • Valid Blue Card; AND
  • The ability to pass a National Police check.
