Description and Requirements

This role is what every OSHC Coordinator dreams of! This Lead Coordinator role is to manage a large OSHC service in Oxley, lead a team, be involved in the school community, and build key relationships with the school, families, and children. 

 

About the role 
  

 Leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service. 

 

  • Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!  
  • Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents  
  • Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management  
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration  
  • Ensure quality and compliance in service delivery, and work with your team towards excellent rating and assessment outcomes 

 

About the service

 

A large service that operates with a Coordinator, 2 Assistant Coordinators, and many consistent Educators. This service is licensed for 105 children.

 

In addition to paid admin hours every week, every term you also have 3 hours of paid professional development and 2 hours of paid staff meetings. As a national company, we have centralised teams to manage parent accounts and invoicing so you can focus on what you love: providing exceptional experiences for children and leading teams.

Who are we looking for? 

 

We can teach you about the job and JAG, but a few basics you need to have:  

 

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working with children in a leadership position or a similar role 
  • Ideally minimum Diploma qualification in a relevant field (e.g. Diploma in Children’s Services), or have completed minimum 2 years of full time study in a relevant field  
  • Current and valid Working with Children Check, or state required check 
  • Clear and professional communication
