Description and Requirements

The role in a nutshell

 

If you have a passion for working with children and a teamwork focus, OSHC is the career for you! 

 

As an Educator at our Outside School Hours Care Service, Willoughby Helping Hands, you will join the children in a variety of activities to encourage their curiosity and develop their well-being! Offering 12-hours per week, you will work after school shifts only and:  

 

  • Bring a sense of adventure, empathy and energy, as well as a meaningful teamwork approach each day. 
  • Supervise children through participation in games & a diverse range of activities
  • Join our school holiday program with exciting excursion! 

 

Who are we looking for? 


We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have: 

  • Enjoy working with kids 
  • Strong and clear communication 
  • Team player with a desire to become a service leader 
  • Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children 
  • Australian work rights
