Description and Requirements

Whether you're experienced in the Education or childcare sector, have done some babysitting, this is the first time you're thinking about working with children, or anything in between, THIS is the role for you!

 

We are looking for passionate and energetic Educator to join our team at Padbury OSHClub offering 17:50 hours per week, you will work across our Before and After School Care shifts.

 

  • Before School Care (Rise then Shine Program) – Monday to Friday; 07:00 AM – 09:00 AM
  • After School Care (Stay and Play Program) – Monday to Friday; 02:30 PM – 05:00 PM
  • You can pick up extra hours during the school holidays too!

 

About the role

 

As an Educator, you will join the children in a variety of activities to encourage their curiosity and develop their well-being! Ideally, you need to have skill, passion or interest to share with the children, as diverse activities and creativity is key to our ongoing success. You will bring a sense of adventure, empathy and energy, as well as a meaningful teamwork approach each day.

  • Supervise children through participation in games & activities.
  • Join our school holiday program with exciting excursions to the cinemas, zoo and more!
  • Teamwork and collaboration to create diverse activities.

Who are we looking for?

 

We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have:

  • Enjoy working with kids.
  • Strong and clear communication.
  • Team player with a desire to become a service leader.
  • Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children.
  • Australian work rights.
  • Must hold a Cert III (CHC30121) or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care, Cert III (CHC30221) or IV Education Support, Cert III (10983NAT) or IV Outside School Hours Care or Degree or Diploma in Education, Recreation, Sport Science, Leisure Studies, Social and Behavioural Science or Nursing.
