A service based in Labertouche is looking for a passionate and caring Educator for children in our after school care capacity. This is a permanent part-time position at 23.75 hours per week all year round - the perfect balance! Shift times will be Monday - Friday 7:00 - 9:00AM and 3:15 – 06:00 PM.

About the role

Working in a team of Educators, you will have support of a Coordinator to seamlessly run before and after school care for children aged 5-12 years:

• Facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
• Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
• Work with a team of skilled Educators onsite

Who are we looking for?

We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have:

• Enjoy working with kids
• Experience working with additional needs would be beneficial
• Strong and clear communication
• Team player with a desire to become a service leader
• Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children
• Obtained or studying towards a relevant qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA
• Australian work rights
