Looking to take ownership over a program? Do you work particularly well with grade 5 - 6 students and want to develop an enriching program for them?
A service based in The Basin is looking for a passionate and organised Assistant Coordinator for children in our after school care capacity. This is a permanent part-time position at 27.25 hours per week all year round - the perfect balance!
Hours will be Monday – Friday: 7:00AM - 9:00AM (Rise then Shine Program) and 2:45PM - 6:00PM (Stay and Play Program) + 1 hour of admin.
About the role
This position offers a unique opportunity for a candidate to program and guide their own program for a group of Grade 5 & 6 students. Under the guidance of the service Coodinator, this team member would be responsible for the Senior room at the service and would work with the Coordinator to provide engaging activities, targeted towards the older primary years. In addition, when the Coordinator is on leave, the Assistant Coordinator would step into this role and ensure the quality of the service is upheld.
