Description and Requirements

Our Outside School Hours Care service, Moreton Bay College OSHClubis looking for a passionate Assistant Coordinator to assist with managing the service and providing engaging programs for our primary-age children. This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering 30 hours per week (guaranteed minimum) to assist with leading a team of passionate Educators.

 

You will work across split shifts to support the service’s operating hours of Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 8:30am (Rise then Shine Program) and 2:30pm – 6:00pm (Stay and Play Program). You can pick up extra hours during the school holidays too!

 

About the role 

 

You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus a Regional Manager who regularly visits to mentor you at your service to assist you and your team to:

 

  • Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
  • Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents.
  • Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management.
  • Assist to manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration.

About you

 

  • Commitment to our company values and philosophy
  • Qualified or enrolled in a Diploma or Higher qualification in Early Childhood Education a MUST as this service caters to pre-prep children
  • Valid WWCC (Paid Blue Card)
  • Availability over split shifts/ Monday to Friday 
  • The ability to pass a National Police Check (We’ll pay for it!)
