Description and Requirements

Coburn is looking for a passionate and organised Assistant Coordinator for children in our before and after school care capacity. This is a permanent part-time position at 25.5 hours per week all year round - the perfect balance! 


This role will provide you with the training to step into the coordinator role and support your coordinator in managing your service and providing engaging programs. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus a Regional Manager who regularly visits to mentor you. 

 

The hours will be:

Monday, Wednesday : 2:45pm - 6:30pm 

Tuesday, Thursday, Friday : 6:45am - 9:00am and 2:45pm - 6:30pm


About the role

Co-managing a team of Educators, you’ll have the perfect balance of support and leadership opportunities. You will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years, with the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.

  • Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
  • Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
  • Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration
