Description and Requirements

Welcome to Junior Adventures Group, where we focus on play-based learning to engage and delight primary- aged children, during after school care. 

What To Expect as an Educator 

Permanent part-time employment, based in Wenona. 

  • High energy with active & creative play for children aged 5-13 years;
  • Play based learning, incorporating children's ideas and interests into planned experiences and routines; 
  • Team work to tailor each aspect of the service to engage, inspire and delight the children. 


The hours set out below are across the school terms & School Holiday program. The successful applicant must be available to work Monday to Friday; 

  • After School Care 3:00 - 6:00 pm.
  • 15 hours per week. 

Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience working with children OR within a customer service environment;
  • Skills or interest in physical activities or creative play; 
  • Qualifications in Children's Services, Early Childhood,  Education, Allied Heath, Social/ Youth/ Community studies, Behavioural Science etc highly desirable;  
  • Valid Working with Children Check, or willing to obtain.
