Description and Requirements

Welcome to Junior Adventures Group. We are a multi brand Education provider with leading Before and After School Care brands OSHClub and Helping Hands. 

We are looking for a permanent Coordinator in Surry Hills, 37 hours per week. 

About the role

As the Program Coordinator you will use your high-energy and positive nature to lead by example to run a compliant, successful & fun twice daily service;

  • Design, manage and lead an established program; 
  • Manage a team, including a permanent part time Assistant who will work each morning and afternoon;
  • Access an existing pool of trained staff for any ratio/last minute shifts, as well as a staffing support team; 
  • Plan healthy eating menus and incorporate fun child driven programs based on both the interests and passions of children at your program and the strengths and skills of you and your team;

Your working hours

The hours set out below are workable across the school term and Holiday programs. The successful applicant must be available to work Monday to Friday: 

  • Before School Care (6.30 - 8.30 am), and; 
  • After School Care (2.15 - 6.30 pm), and;
  • 5 paid administration hours per week.

The role is permanent part time, so only candidates with full availability will be considered. 

Do you meet the Qualifications & Experience?

  • 2+ years leadership/ management experience in Long Day Care, Creche or OSHC/ OOSH; OR
  • Experience as an Educator with qualifications in either; Education, Support, Children's Services, Early Childhood, Community, Social, Youth, Recreation, Sport Science, Leisure Studies, Social, Behavioural Science, Nursing ect; AND
  • Valid Working with Children Check.
