Description and Requirements

WHAT TO EXPECT AS A COORDINATOR

As the Program Coordinator you will take ownership of your very own OSHC service.  This includes:

  • supporting, developing & leading a team of Educators within your service,
  • ensuring NQF compliance of your service,
  • fostering the outstanding existing relationship with the school and community links,
  • developing a program of fun, child-driven activities based on the interests and passion of children in your service, and
  • planning & resourcing healthy eating menus.

HOURS

This particular opportunity requires the following availability:

Before School Care 6.30 - 8.45 am, Monday - Friday

After School Care 3.30 - 6.00 pm Monday - Friday, and

4 hours paid administration hours per week to plan your service.

Total hours: 31.75 hours.


INTERESTED IN APPLYING?

Our Coordinators require the following qualifications:

  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Education Support or School Education and Care; OR
  • Diploma in Children's Services or Early Childhood Education and Care; OR  
  • Degree in Primary Education, Secondary or Early Childhood Studies or equivalent; OR 
  • Diploma or Degree in Recreation; Sport Science; Leisure Studies; Social and Behavioural Science or Nursing 
    Supervising Officer Certificate (OR willing to apply for) 
  • First Aid, Asthma, Anaphylaxis and CPR trained 

A current Employee Working with Children's Check is a must for this role.
