    ABOUT THE ROLE


    As the Program Coordinator/Team Leader you will be the responsible person overseeing the service and supporting, mentoring a team of permanent Assistant Coordinator and Educators. You will also have access to an existing pool of casual staff for any ratio/last minute shifts.

     

    As an organisation that values our relationship with the school and wider community, your role will allow you to embed yourself and the service team with the school and foster outstanding relationships with the many families that entrust us in the care of their children.  You will plan healthy eating menus and incorporate fun child driven programs based on both the interests and passions of children at your service and if your service runs holiday programs, you will be involved in incursion and excursions during term breaks.

     

    HOURS


    The hours set out below will be workable across school terms, but the total weekly hours are also guaranteed across the School Holiday program.  The successful applicant will be available to work 38 hrs per week (Monday to Friday) comprising of:

    • Before School Care (7.00am-9.00am) and

    • After School Care (3.00pm-6.00pm)

    • Additional administration hours per week

     The role is permanent full time, so only candidates with full availability 38 hours per week will be considered

     

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    You must hold minimum:

    • Diploma in Children's Services OR

    • Degree in Primary Education or Early Childhood Studies or equivalent OR

    • Equivalent Qualifications as approved by ACEQCA (Youth, Sports Science, Allied Health, Community, Welfare, Fitness, Leadership and more) https://www.acecqa.gov.au/qualifications/requirements/working-with-school-age-children

    • A current Employee Working with Children's Check is a must for these roles

    • National Police Check – paid by us!

    • Minimum 5 years experience in the childcare industry

    • Proven experience supporting & delivering a quality and safety agenda

    • Experience working with and supporting teams to achieve results
