Description and Requirements

Reporting to the GM of Business Development, the Business Development and Partnerships Manager, ACT, will be a part of a national commercial team.

Primary responsibilities of this role include building long term strategic and commercial relationships with key school stakeholders including Principals and Business Managers with the view to bring new Outside School Hours Care services into the business as well as to look after renewal and re-negotiation of contracts with existing schools. You will also act as a key ACT contact for government, legislative and peak bodies.

While it is not essential that you have worked in the education sector you will be experienced in Business Development or Strategic Account Management preferably delivering across high quality, high value accounts. You may be coming from another corporate role in either B2B or B2C and importantly you will be a motivated self-starter who enjoys developing relationships both internally and externally and working to targets. You will be comfortable working autonomously and because of the nature of the role, you will have a willingness to travel. You will enjoy and have a strong track record in sales, with demonstrable experience in commercial negotiation and customer service excellence.
