Description and Requirements

Welcome to Helping Hands! We provide before & after school care and school holiday programs to primary school aged children in Stretton.

TELL ME ABOUT THE ROLE!

You will use your high-energy and positive nature to delight children each shift.  

  • Use your skills and interest to engage primary-aged children;
  • Team work to deliver creative games and activities;
  • Incorporate cooking and meal preparation into experiences for children;
  • Active supervision and consistent head counts to manage safety.

HOURS

This permanent position, covers the school term and holiday program;

  • After School Care (2:30 pm - 5:00 pm).
  • Total hours: 12.5 per week

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Our Educators require the following qualifications;

  • Certificate/ Diploma/ Bachelors (working towards in fine) Childhood Studies, Education, Community/ Social studies; AND
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin; AND
  • Valid Blue Card; AND
  • The ability to pass a National Police check.
