Description and Requirements

Do you love working with children? Have you coached a sports team? Tutored or been in a position caring for children? 

We are looking for passionate team leaders in Nicholls to assist in the coordination of fun & engaging services, for primary-aged children during Before & After school care.

What to expect as an Assistant Coordinator 

You will be supported by an excellent team of Regional Coordinators & Managers to ensure your success; 

  • Assist with the design and leadership of an established program, based on the interest of attending children and skills of your team (get creative!); 
  • Plan healthy eating menus; 
  • Manage compliance & staffing across the service; 
  • Step up to Coordinator in times of absence.

Hours 

We are seeking part-time Assistant Coordinators to commence ASAP.

Hours are across the school term, with total weekly hours guaranteed across the School Holiday program (for ongoing, permanent staff).

  • Before School Care (7.00 – 9.00 am) and; 
  • After School Care (2.15 - 5.45 pm), plus; 

Are you Eligible?  

  • Qualifications (Diploma or above) in Education/ Childcare/ Community/Social Services/ Allied Health Professions/ Recreation/ Sport Science etc; AND
  • 2+ years within a childcare setting; AND
  • Working with Vulnerable People Card (or willing to obtain one).
