WHAT TO EXPECT AS AN ASSISTANT COORDINATOR

As the Assistant Coordinator you will assist your Coordinator in the management and running of  one of our OSHC services.  This includes:

  • supporting, developing & leading a team of Educators within the service,
  • ensuring NQF compliance of the service,
  • fostering the outstanding existing relationship with the school and community links,
  • developing a program of fun, child-driven activities based on the interests and passion of children in the service, and
  • planning & resourcing healthy eating menus.

HOURS

This particular opportunity requires the following availability:


After School Care 2.00 - 6.00 pm Monday - Friday.

Total hours: 20 hours.



INTERESTED IN APPLYING?

Our Assistant Coordinators require the following qualifications:

  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Education Support or School Education and Care; OR
  • Diploma in Children's Services or Early Childhood Education and Care; OR  
  • Degree in Primary Education, Secondary or Early Childhood Studies or equivalent; OR 
  • Diploma or Degree in Recreation; Sport Science; Leisure Studies; Social and Behavioural Science or Nursing 
    Supervising Officer Certificate (OR willing to apply for) 
  • First Aid, Asthma, Anaphylaxis and CPR trained 

A current Employee Working with Children's Check is a must for this role.
